I was at the press conference today at Parken, and I asked Kalle Sauerland why, St. Juste wasn't the opponent. He's a southpaw and on paper the perfect opponent for Kessler. According to Kalle they choose Bouadla because they wanted to give a good fight for the 22.000 spectators. Probably Mikkels last fight in Denmark. Styles make fights, said Sauerland, and St. Juste wouldn't make for a good, entertaining fight. So they choose Bouadla who Mikkel sees as a tough opponent who puts a lot of pressure on opponents. But also someone Mikkel would be able to punish with that one-two combination. Haven't seen Bouadla, but this was what Kalle told me.
Nice for the French guy, too bad for St-Juste. It's true that St-Juste doesn't have the biggest output of the division. He has very good pop though. Maybe there will be more action and less threat for Kessler. As long as Bute is his next opponent.
His right eye is ok, the left eye almost ok. That what he said some days ago. Little bit early to fight ?
