I used to say JMM but Im warming up to a bradley fight. JMM will just get starched and people will say he was old. At least with Bradley he's beating up a young undefeated fighter.
Pac-Bradley at 140 would be the real deal. If Pacquiao wouldn't move up to face Martinez at 154 he should make his opposition move up it's that simple.
I won't pay for any of these fights. I'm a big fan of Marquez but he is getting KOed at anything above 135. Bradley is a small JWW that never convinced me of his skills, moreover he has no punching power. He has next to zero chances of beating Pac. He is not going to KO him and he can not out work him. I really don't want to see Ortiz fight Pac because I think that Ortiz is not ready at this point.
Bradley is the better fight, to shut *****s up. We need Black fighters under Pac's resume. After that, we may need Euro fighters under his resume to shut Eurofans in ESB. But I know one Eurofan out there but I guess he got EuroSB-banned.
We know Marquez has the style to trouble Pac. Be it at 140 or a welterweight catchweight, that fight is certainly more intriguing than a Bradley fight, who will be an unknown commodity in both name and in how competitive a fight he will be. Safe bet is Marquez is the better fight.
Pacquiao would flatten Marquez at this point, he is too hittable and has been hurt by guys without a particularly big punch. The weight would make essentially no difference as Pacquiao would weigh the same on fight night regardless and Marquez would probably come into the fight at a similar weight anyway. Bradley is a significantly better opponent at any weight but would still be out of his depth.
He was overwhelmed by Diaz, it was more volume that had him stunned than a particularly hard punch. Katsidis at LW probably hits harder than Khan or Bradley at JWW, and he got up from a monster left hook just fine. It would still be competitive. JMM's style has adapted to pressure better as well. Even though JMM never fought at 140, it would make sense that he'd do better there than at 145 where Pac is at his top weight basically...which is a weight he's also never fought at.
They're both great fights, would love to see either of them. Really hope this is Pac's next 2 (final 2?). But ultimately if I had to choose, I'd go with Bradley. Despite the size/weight mismatch, Mayweather beat Marquez convincingly so there would be more credit given for taking the zero of a p4p-calibre fighter like Bradley.
I'm not excited about his age or the weight class, but I think Marquez still has that one last performance in him and he's been waiting to use it on Pac. He at least has the skills to give Pac trouble. It's also possible weight gain can also be catching up to Pac and slow him down enough for a competitive fight. Bradley just doesn't have anything on Pac. He's proven to be the best at 140, but he hasn't taken on anybody with dangerous speed or power. Pac has both. Bradley also doesn't have a strong enough punch to trouble Pac. His skills on the outside are okay. He is remarkable on the inside, but that just plays into Pac's hands. Pac is just going to out speed Bradley and send him into a world of hurt. Ortiz would be the best fight. Judah fight would be fun while it lasted, but I feel bad for Judah, he's been beat up enough already.
bradley would be better. pac is too big for marquez now. bradley isnt great but hes a good, young undefeated fighter.
We all saw what a Pac/Marquez fight looks like already. Let's see how Pac deals with Bradley whose in his prime an at the top of his game.
Pacquiao v Bradley is the better fight at 140 or 147. Bradley has already shown he can carry 147 so that wouldn't be a problem. Marquez is pushing it already at 135 in my opinion, he just can't carry the weight.
