    Bernard Hopkins compares MMA to gay pornography:

    "Everybody is different. I don't want to watch two grown men wrestling with panties on. I'm from the hood, we don't play that. To me, I'm not buying a ticket to watch two grown men with panties on, sweating, [with] nuts in their face. That's not me. To compare that to boxing is ludicrous. It's a porno. It's an entertainment porno," Hopkins told ***********. "I'm not wrestling a guy with panties on and his nuts in my face, and they call that a sport."

    "I'm not criticizing people for what kind of entertainment they like. I think most of those people have chains and masks in their closets. There is something out there for everybody. I can understand if 90% of women were going to those things but I can't understand a grown man sitting there with a couple of guys watching two grown men with panties on, sweating. That's just my opinion. It's not a good look," Hopkins said.

    Pacman and George foremen would **** on 7/10 MMA fighters.Well at least when George was in his prime.MMa fans are just youngsters, that suck at striking and usually win most of the street fighters because they have the intentions to kill rather than to fight.

    That's funny as hell!!! I feel the same way about the ground game aspect of MMA too ... its boring as hell and I find it a bit gay myself.

    This is old news nevertheless it still remains true. What gets me the most is just the visual. Personally under NO CIRCUMSTANCES do I ever want to be on top of a sweaty guy with his legs wrapped around me. Don't get me wrong I do understand why they do it and the technique but it doesn't make it look any less gross. I got to agree with Bhop on this one. Not my cup of tea. What's funny to me are guys who compain about a fighter like john ruiz with all the hugging yet they love mma. Just weird to me.

    Only someone with closet gay tendenices can see this as gay porn ..Let some dude get on top of you and have him try to choke you out or pound u into the dirt and see how gay that is ?? Hopkins should really stfu about stuff he knows nothing about !

    And about the highlights being from 'strikes', i was talking with some buddies of mine about that the other weekend at the GSP fight. They are MMA fans and asked me to check it out. They showed a highlight reel in between fights and almost everyone was from some country bumpkin from teh states throwing some wild telegraphed 'strike' that grazed a guys chin and he collapses onto the canvas and is instantly humped. I didn't get it. I didn't see any amazing skill that landed these 'strikes'. It was just a wild punch on a guy who is lunging forward with a wide guard and his arms by his side. To me, any decent boxer would easily exploit that. From what I saw, the average boxer is faster, has better movement and cowardnation. I didn't see anything entertaining, yet everytime a guy grabbed another guy (no homo) everyone went nuts. But for a sport that is based on wrestling, interesting that all of the knockouts and highlights come from strikes...
