I dont say this with any hostility toward anyone, but Im getting pretty tired of all the threads started about Mayweather & Pacquiao on this forum. As boxing fans, we gotta get over these two. Theyre not gonna fight. And it will be a HUGE shock if they ever do. There are other boxers in this world, and there are plenty of other good fights to be made. Why dont we focus on that? This constant emphasis on Mayweather vs. Pacquiao, and all the hypotheticals, is damaging the sport. Because we build it up in our minds, and talk about the fight, only to be disappointed when negotiations fall through. So all you novices in here, just trying to get your thread read by asking questions like can Floyd KO Pacquiao?, or how will Mayweathers defense do against Pacquiao?, or will Pacquiao agree to the test?, etc. etc. etc., please take it somewhere else. There are some real knowledgeable people in this forum, but youre wasting all of our time and space, by creating threads on a fantasy matchup thats never gonna happen. If it does, great, if not, oh well, and the sport of boxing suffers. But we have other stars, and the mainstream sports media should be paying attention to them. Its our job as fans to emphasize these things. Not harp on Mayweather & Pacquiao all day, everyday. I say this with all due respect, and absolutely no hostility to anyone. Its just that this crap is getting old in here.
The problem is the *******s. All the threads they do are about Floyd. They spend 5x's as much time and energy on Floyd than they do being Manny fans. Mayweather is the center of the *******s world. When you look at all these threads the Tards always find a way to work in Manny or disparage Floyd. I've always said it but now I definitely believe it! FLOYD IS THE *******S DADDY!
It's getting to the point where it's just obnoxious. And it's so unfortunate that Floyd won't fight Manny. Because he'd beat Pacquiao and quiet all these people forever. I guess we'll never know. I hope I'm wrong, but I, along with many others, feel this fight will never happen. And it's so damaging to the sport as a whole. Meanwhile, we have people on this forum that just won't give it a rest.
