My point is why not 141, which is more ideal. I disagree that Manny easily beats him at any weight. At 141, I think its a close to even fight.. If this fight is at 144, Manny will win, but I think he should get as much **** for the weight as Mayweather did. and I am a fan of Manny

I believe this is a good fight because Marquez really wants it and he has also beaten many 'alive' opponents recently.

This is going to sound contravsiol, but I have always said that p4p Marquez's technical skill set is better than Floyd Mayweather Jr's. Straight up! (and please don't insult my intelligence by saing Mayweather beat Marquez etc) before Marquez get's any older, a trilogy with Pacquiao would be great, and great for boxing, when was the last real trilogy you saw, any trilogy of recent time, no, to busy protecting the '0' on the cv/record. lol
I think it would also measure and test to see how far Pacquiao has progressed, or Marquez has other ideas.

Well that wont be an issue with Manny at least. I think Marquez gives Manny problems reguardless of what weight they fight, but 140 makes the best possible fight. 144 I could still see Manny having problems, but I could also see him stopping Marquez in the middle rounds. Even early maybe.

Yeah I totally agree, Pacquaio vs. Hatton Light-Welter 140lbs, great stuff.

However, I don't think Pacquiao can get down to 140lbs now, and Marquez coming up even 7lbs to 142lbs, umm, not sure, I would stick at 140lbs for Marquez and Pacquaio will come in at 143lbs, and then its what they weigh on fight night

Of course he can make 140. They feed the guy 10 times a day just to keep him around 145. 140 is his natural fight weight at this stage of his career. 135 is JMMs.

This is definitely not going to be a close fight. This is the present day Pac and JMM, not the past.
