Obviously Margarito wins this. Too much strength and too much determination for Judah to overcome.

The only way Margarito doesn't win this is by being stupid like he was against Williams. He needs volume and bullwork, a LOT of it. When he throws 80-100 punches a round he is formidable.

And whoever thinks Cotto hits harder... :rofl

That's really all I gotta say in that regard.

Cotto is a more precise puncher, but it takes him rounds yet to stop someone.

When Margarito lands flush you know it. Fights end very quickly.

Punch for punch Margarito hits harder. It just becomes a question of landing that punch. Which is why he has to throw in volume instead of what Cotto does - pick punches.

Judah will find a way to lose, as usual.

For Margarito to fight Mayweather at the end of 2008,
he must beat Judah and Cotto first.

I don't think Margarito hits harder than Cotto, although he throws in more volume. Cotto does the same damage Margarito does but by throwing half the amount of punches. Cotto has broken noses, ribs, jaws, cheekbones, and even dislocated that Italian guys shoulder with a single left hook.

This is nothing but an internet rumor. Zab has an injury that won't allow him to fight in March.

Margarito clearly has more power in his hands. He has twice as many early knockouts(within first 3 rounds) and at a higher weight class for most of them compared to Miguel. Cotto hasn't blown out any welterweights early thus far so I think his power is not as effective at 147 as it was at 140.

People will realize this once Cotto fights more natural welterweights. Moreover, even at 140 most of his knockouts were from an accumulation of punches rather than blowing out opponents cold right from the start.

Margo's problem is that his handspeed is poor and he also has a bad habit of throwing wide looping punches making them easier to avoid but he makes up for it to some extent by throwing in great volume. However, when he does hit people flush they usually go down in a hurry whereas Cotto needs a large amount of flush shots to wear opponents down to the point of exhaustion before finishing them. Hence fights with Cotto can be potentially more punishing because he hits people over and over before they go out similar to how Williams needs a lot of shots to stop opponents as well.

Cotto destroyed Quintana who is a better welterweight than anyone Margarito has stopped. Quintana also fought at jr.middleweight before

Margarito by UD or maybe a late TKO, if this fight happens.

Judah won't win this fight. Margarito applies alot of pressure, has great stamina, punches hard and can take a great punch, in other words Zab Judah's worst nightmare:lol:

Margarito is way too slow for Judah...Margarito is a volume puncher not an accurate sharp puncher with lethal precise FAST body shots like Cotto. Judah should do well if he does not hurt his hands landing his left on margarito all night.
