Why is Shane Mosley's verification the ultimate measure? In reality, probably the hardest puncher he's ever fought outside of Pacquiao was Delahoya.

I don't think Floyd is afraid of PAC's power....I don't think he's afraid of PAC in general...He's simply afraid of what happens IF he loses. Knowing that in boxing "walking the walk and talking the talk" go hand in hand if you are active and at the top of the sport.

Needless to say Floyd has done A LOT of talking. Talking he's use to backing up without much issue. But PAC has PROVEN that he's a threat and stylistically Floyd doesn't like what PAC brings to the ring.

Floyd won't step up folks.....He's proven that much completely contradicting himself when it has to do with this whole PAC situation. If you need proof just do a quick google search about Floyd and see all the instances where Floyd has buckled under the pressure in the last year.

Racist rants, exteneded vacations, pre-mature wedding plans, beating women and threatening children..... He's not fighting Manny folks.

struggling to cut off the ring- bull**** I say, he has become a more safety first fighter the past few years. Look at Pacs actions immediatley after the "supposed" knockdown, he immediatley applied pressure and cut Shane off, he can do it if he wants to, I think has a soft spot for Shane as it is just a sport to him.

This is a BS excuse that people should stop using as a crutch for Pacquiao's failure to close out opponents.

What some folks need to do is stop looking for reasons to discredit PAC for what he could not control in Shane this past Saturday. Shane is a great fighter and a seasoned vet! If he's looking to survive...he'll find a way to survive! And if he's running there's nothing you can do to stop it. PAC was going light on Shane in the begining but turned up the heat when he was called for a KD. When PAC turned up the heat...Shane when from Shane Mostly to "USAIN" Mosley.

Having to watch a warrior run away like he did is devastating enough. . . Pac made him his b*tch.

Mosley was overstating it to have reasons why he ran away. He knows he couldn't match Pac's output and decided he did not want to fight toe to toe. His only chance at that point was to go for points. He did very well but could not pull the trigger when the opportunities arose. I think the last 9 rounds of the fight is a preview of what we'd see on a Pac-FMJ fight, only more intense from both sides. I bet FMJ would pull the trigger more often and Pac would also be more aggressive yet more cautious on his approach, probably more lateral movement.
