    i agree, but uglier **** has happened in boxing with real atg's, so i'm gonna celebrate for the kid if he wins....

    6 won w/o a catch weight (with the WW belt being defended both times at the WW limit of 147)

    although personally the jMW belt was pure BS.

    But I'm not hating on Cotto, I'm a fan of the guy, a real warrior and props to him for attempting this.

    good ish...people shuldnt hate n just give the man props,im sure he wuld love to get in the ring with martinez

    As a Cotto fan that is great to see him get that shot for the 4th title. But he has his work cut out for him. I don't think much of Chavez Jr. but at 160 and being much younger, he just might be too much for a past prime Cotto.

    I think his accomplishments are overrated.

    at 147, who did he beat? an old Shane Mosley..

    at 154, he beat the jewish guy who was injured.

    he's still fighting at a high level though.

    Cotto may not be a ATG but you have to respect the dude for his heart and competitiveness. He's one of my favorite fighters of this generation.
