Floydettes are jumping on posted FAKE ARTICLES on **** websites with unknown source . . . then questions ESPN's credibility when the site posted something that exposes Mayflowers' big mouth. This content is protected :rofl
"*****s" - played by Sylvester Stallone "Floyd" - played by lady [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vh0P7xEUH38[/ame] :rofl
Psychopath, did you read the original post or watch the Floyd videos. You do realize that ESPN made up those statements that you even highlighted in another thread. Would your opinion on this topic change if you realized ESPN added those words and they did not come from Mayweather's "Big Mouth"
ESPN is clearly identified as the source . . . if they put anything in there that isn't true . . . the they would be opening themselves to court charges. Enough for me to believe everything is true. Stop complaining . . . let Mayflower do the complaining if that wasn't true. :deal
Forget about court charges, I am asking you would you still hold the same opinion on this matter if you realized that ESPN added those words. Why is it that none on esb knows the meaning of quotation marks. Those statements were not in quotation marks, so what does that mean ESB?
The only way Floyd will get his respect back is to fight Pac. Everything that is happening now is his own doing.
I agree with the validity of your last statement. Mayweather has finally realized that he will never get credit, no matter what he accomplishes in boxing. If he fought Pac and won by second round KO, people will still be bitching about him not fighting some unnamed guy from middleweight to heavyweight. It's a shame, but that's just the way it is. There is a large segment of the boxing public -- the mainstream public that's been waiting for a time like now to fully enjoy combat sports -- that wants to see Mayweather lose. Floyd's "bad guy act" that he uses to sell fights is generally so effective because people really, REALLY want to believe that that's how he is. At some point, a guy like him begins to notice just how tangible the hate is. I could be wrong, but it seems to me that he's finally turned indifferent towards the mainstream boxing fan who really doesn't know **** about the sport. It has taken its toll on him as a person, whether he will admit that or not. It's something about a prime athlete like him that makes people feel good to see him fall down. This happened to Muhammad Ali (aka Cassius Clay). Ali wasn't celebrated or loved until after he got old and badly sick with Parkinson's disease. Before that, he was robbed of several of his prime years and called a draft dodger, among other things. People were looking to see him fall by any means. Demonized at his best, but celebrated at his worst. The process seems to be happening with Tyson as well. He was hated by MANY when he was on top of the world crushing everyone who came his way. But as soon as he lost his way and fell off the wagon during some tumultuous times, a large segment of the population rejoiced each time. Again, demonized at his best, but celebrated once he was no longer successful or, as they say, "threatening". They allow Tyson to do cameos in movies like The Hangover these days. He's in movies that cater to an audience who used to have nothing but disdain for him when he was the baddest man on the planet. What I find ironic is, the segment of the population that has disdain for Mayweather is no different that the group who refused to acknowledge Ali and Tyson at their best. It makes one wonder, even though it's very simple to figure out. I think Pacman is great for boxing. He has a nation behind him that he can always fall back on, PLUS the general segment of people that had disdain for Ali, Tyson, and now Mayweather, DO accept Pacquiao to the fullest. His success isn't "threatening" to them. To determine why this is the case requires looking just below the surface. :smoke I just wish Pac would have agreed to the drug testing as described in the contract that went around. I wish he and Floyd would have done ODST and got it on. Pac could have taken it out on Mayweather's ass in the ring for accusing him, but for some strange reasons (that don't add up), he chose to avoid the ODST. And there went the biggest fight in boxing. Let's say we put Mayweather where Pacquaio is, and vice versa: -How many people here can honestly say that they wouldn't wish for Floyd to just take the tests and get the fight signed if the roles were reversed? -How many people would find a way to exonerate him from any shred of doubt for NOT agreeing to take some blood tests; tests that his opponent would also be required to take? It would take swallowing some pride to answer those questions to oneself truthfully, before answering truthfully to anybody else.
Well, this is pretty obvious. We'd just be in the opposite situation and Floyd would be synonymous to Barry Bonds in the public eye. You are being too sensible in your post. People won't go there with you, because they don't want to reason or be reasonable on these forums. They just want a reason to hate, or add fuel to whatever fire already burns inside them.
