IS Holt back in the 140lb mix after a Sugar Ray Robinson-Fullmer type KO?

That was a beautiful KO, can't say I saw the fight. Holt at his best looked really good, he'd be a good fight for Khan who doesn't have an opponent or maybe Maidana. Had to share this KO anyway

I want to say he is, but he still needs to work on a few things, mostly mental though. I don't think he was throwing enough with intention.
He did a good job though and I'm impressed by the KO

It sure as hell didn't have the same importance as the fight you mentioned but he might be back in the mix in a year or 2 ..there's better and more meaningful money fights at 140 than him and honestly Holt brings very little to the table not even hometown fans...dont mean to be a dick but gotta keep it real every so often and thats the truth of the matter.

I still don't know how anyone thought Holt was finished. He's only 29 yrs old. He has losses to Current or Former Belt Holders Torres, Bradley and Mabuza. Torres he lost in Colombia and was ahead on two judges scorecards before being stopped in the 11th, went the distance with Bradley and even knocked him down twice, and was injured vs Mabuza.

Holt vs Maidana....would be a DAMN GOOD FIGHT.
Holt vs Khan would also be quality fight.

That double left hook to the body and head made for every bit as sweet a KO as that left uppercut Zab Judah himself scored on FNF awhile back to get back in the 140lb mix.

A shopworn Julio Diaz is about equally good a scalp as a shopworn Jose Armando Santa Cruz.

So, fair's fair. Holt should be.

Anyone got any comments on Seth Mitchell....I think he just down-right terrible. But he's still learning....hopefully he'll get better technically.

Holt is a B level fighter at best.

Was that one round against Quinn the first time you'd seen him?

He is raw but might just be the best up and coming American HW.

    You know it's gonna happen

He's waiting for Shaw's to expire then he's going to jump on Arum's train for the money.

Right, so a Judah fight would be 50-50. :deal
