Dave Parris. Won't get many nominations for best though.

He's retired as a referee though. Over here anyway (think I've seen him in Germany for some reason?) Still judging over here as well unfortunately.

IJL had a shocker. He's got to he strong enough to make thr ight call. Does he think the BBBofC won't back him up...?
Obviously to keep the "boxing buisness" going, dallas had to win: that's how it was planned and that's what's happened countless times before. It was no surprise and it will be forgotten about by the time the next one happens. I hate it happenig but it's happened plenty before, just so happens this fight was live on sky. Not cool. That's 2 very dodge calls from I£L of late. When one guy is the ticket seller he can often get his arse handed to him and win on points...off tv show...never gonna change sadly. One of the reasons boxing struggles...

Also on a side note: all refs make mistakes ie the PAC KD: not I£l's PF scorecard! **** happens, loughlin will eventually make a mistake and we shouldn't castigate when it happens. We are fickle here but we must make sure it's long-term and repeated por officiating that are picked up on

Keane is quite a good referee I think, crucially he knows when to stop a fight.

Howard Foster is variable, sometimes he has a really good night and other times he steps in way too early (Murray vs Thaxton)..... but nobody is worse than Phil Edwards for stoppages, a couple of Bellew fights have been stopped way too early.

I'm not sure who's worse at scoring fights though, IJL or Michael Alexander - a genuine spastic when it comes to filling out a scorecard.

I like McDonnell's little ''Henman'' every time he initiates them after a break up :yep

Yeah, the refs you don't notice are the best. The problem is, that we only have the same handful of guys who ref all the Sky fights - they really need to widen the pool of refs - it is not good for the game.

    The worst is Terry O'Connor.

Victor Loughlin, Howard Foster and Richie Davies are good refs.

This guy's got to be one of the funniest referees we've got

    Jeff Hinds

I'm not sure if it's his style, a mix of being being ignorant and possibly a little racism but the guy just makes me laugh when he's in the ring. I don't think he does a bad job but sometimes he's looked a bit inexperienced I think.

It's funny how we all happen to roughly agree on who the best and worst are :think If only Sky and the BBBofC took notice

Keane probably the best for me, he lets a proper fight develop yet is also spot on about the timing

Sharp on the rules, and doesnt want to make himself the centre of attention unlike a few others

Hinds reminds me of that guy out of Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels

He's absolutely clueless, just walks around the ring looking disinterested but usually times stoppages quite well. It's as if he just thinks ''I'm bored of watching you getting banged up so I'll step in''.

Really we need to draft in some of the retired refs from America to work with our officials.... compare some of the best refs they've had like Richard Steele, Mills Lane, Mercante and the others, to the ones we've got right now.

    Shocking.

You know what lads i remember the BN the other week Ian John-Lewis saying he's so happy that boxing is back in Kent in a few weeks time when Webb Fights Arron.

Then he pulls out a scorecard like that i believe he knew Page won and robbed the lad. I'm adamant he would of gave that fight to Dallas even if he suffered two knockdowns in round 2 and 4 etc.

Beeston spot on about Foster. I sat not to far from ring a few times while he ref's and crowds go silent when he steps in like WTF?.....it's like 3 unanswered shots=stop the fight.

For me world wide Steve Smoger is class, and Bayliss.
