What makes you so convinced that Haye will lose?

WTF, nobody is downplaying ****. In your Eyes Haye defeated more at Heavyweight then wald. Haye did **** at Heavyweight! This is Hayes biggest fight at Heavyweight, and all you Haye nut huggers that think it is going to be a ride in the park for Haye....GF yourselfs for being so ****ing stupid. Haye has to step way up in this fight. This will be a fight unlike any other Haye has ever had. I predict a KO by Wald within 6. That happens, then what will all you say about Haye? Answer that question!

I think this fight will be similar to the Wlad v. Byrd fight. Byrd is every bit as fast and elusive as Haye. Haye has more power but Byrd had a better chin.

Best speed neutralizer is a good solid jab and Wlad probably has the best jab in the HW and one of the best in all of boxing.

Haye was scared to engage with a slow Valuev so I don't see Haye being too eager to get in range with Wlad which works out great for Wlad.

    Height
Stamina (too much muscle for a boxer)
    Wlads Jab

I am not writing Haye off, and hope he can win. But for all of the above reasons i think he is in for a long night.

If he is going to rush him early and Wlad survives he will gas, If he tries to outbox and wait too long he will get jabbed to death.

His best bet is to mix it up, try and start slow and set a slow pace, and box. And then come out swinging in say round 4 and turn it into a brawl.

The thing is to stay elusive and not get jabbed he really is going to have to use his feet and movement more than ever, and this is why i think the longer he evades wlads punches, the more energy he is going to use which, is why i predict an 11th Rnd TKO for Wlad.

He has far too much muscle on his body IMO. Yes you can argue that others have and have gotten away with it, but you cant change your genetics. I think his body is set up for short term, explosive power and that coupled with so much muscle = Gas station.

I wish him all the best but i dont see him winning :(

Haye is way slower, has zero power compared to Wlad, no defense, no chin, and is much smaller. Anything else?

That had nothing to do with ability or lack there of. Haye was playing it safe. He wanted to get a world title strap thus giving him a bit of collateral at the negotiating table with the Klits. Also first time fighting a guy who towered above him. You don't want a guy who weighs over 20 stone to be leaning on you taking your strength away. I am sure Haye would admit he did enough to win in that fight without taking too many risks.

He gave Ruiz a big enough beat down and finished off his career. So you see it's all about strategy, how you fight diffierent opponents being adaptable. Sometimes. You can't prepare for someone based on their worst performances. You need to prepare to face the best version or else you would be shocked big time in the fight. Wlad isn't underestimating Haye he has said so himself, so if the man ain't writing Haye off without basis, then why are many of his fans?

This is a genuine world title fight here folks. Both guys bring a whole set of problems for the other. Don't be surprised to see a number of possible outcomes happen on fight night.

This fight will depend a lot of different factors. First, Haye needs to come in light - he doesn't need useless muscle like he had against Ruiz. A solid 210-212 is what he needs to come in at.None of this 220+ crap. He needs to work hard on his endurance and speed - his power is natural anyway he doesn't need the extra weight. What did Shavers weigh? c.210.

Second, the chin issue. How will Haye react to Wladamir's blows? He hasn't really been clocked at Heavyweight yet. How will Wlad respond to Haye's shots. Will Wlad become tentative (likely) will Haye get tentative (possible) or go all out for payback? (more likely)

Third, the strategies that both guys employ. This is the biggest one. Haye's stamina isn't great, but Wladamir's is nothing special either. If Haye attacks Wlad, and doesn't get knocked out, and Wlad attempts to punch Haye to keep him off, he will quickly exhaust himself. At the same time, if Haye attacks Wladamir hard, his speed and power could end Wlad early - I see this as Haye's best chance but it is extremely risky as he could easily walk on to something.

If Haye moves like he did against Valuev and comes in with flashy combinations, it will go one of three ways IMHO. Wlad will either jab Haye to death and hold (he was tentative against Ibragimov - imagine how cautious he will be with Haye) - leading to a boring fight that Haye loses by decision. Or, Haye moves, gets off his combinations, catches Wladamir giving up his height coming in, and knocks him out. Third, Haye, moves, gets tired and Wlad KO's him late.

Strategy will be very important. The interesting thing about this fight is Haye has shown real aggression as well as real back foot boxing. Wlad tends to always fight the same way - jab, jab, jab, right hand (maybe) jab, hold. He tends to be quite predictable. Can he fight in the trenches hard without tiring out? Can Haye?

My main worry for this fight is that Wlad will control with the jab after feeling a hard punch, Haye will move after feeling a right hand, and we'll get a fight where both guys don't want to throw and which stinks up the joint. As long as it's a fight I imagine we'll all be happy - boxing desperately needs a good, competitive fight right now. Fingers crossed.
