He's got a long way to go and a lot of improvement required that's for sure, but not impossible.

And Holt has the best chance of anyone against Pacquiao. You must be on the wind up. Or you're one of the single most idiotic people who can use a computer alive right now.

Can we at least wait to see if he completely cleans the 168lbs division before putting him in the ATG category...

Gold medal. Holds wins over Kessler and Abraham. All he needs is to grab himself a Light Heavyweight title someday and he is a Hall of Famer.

Nicely said. And i agree. You can see some flaws in his game but it's going to take a pretty damm good fighter to actually beat him.

Abraham was doing well until he stopped throwing the jab. Abraham quit throwing punches. Ward has not power. Bute will knock Ward out!!! Bute is superior to SOB Ward. I have never seen so many low blows, except Golota/Bowe fight!

He has the mentality for sure, the skill set is there, but it WAY too early to tell. Plus he needs to drop the S from SOG.

i see where this is going, and its somewhat true. Ward is not a risk-taker in a fight. Is this not the same route Mayweather has gone, in his mentality? Its because of that 0. Ward admitted he didnt want to be considered as a boxer, but a "fighter", a boxer/puncher. But you could see in the Abraham fight, he didnt roll the dice in opportunities he could in.
Ward fights too carefully to get to the next level he himself wants to go in....

Nevertheless, in boxing a win is a win in history. Ward still has a ways to go and plenty to prove before ATG considerations. He's got the a great english fighter or the road warrior to fight next, and then a great undefeated romanian puncher. And boy, Bute is a VERY CRAFTY AND SLICK puncher....

After beating those 2 sets, Ward may get considered for P4P top5 and SuperMid ATG....

errrr.... the reason why is Ward was fighting tall and beating Abraham to the jab. Because of this, AA goes into shell mode. AA's behavior in not wanting to punch while getting punches landing on his forearms were obviously exploited.

Body jabs and body hooks sealed the deal by the 6th round. I expected to AA to finally open up...... but he didnt have the stamina & energy he conserves to open up in the mid rounds - totally sexploited

AA did a great Joshua Clottey vs Pacquiao impression....
