If anyone is to get laid out early, it will be Wlad. If it goes to the later rounds, then it will be Haye kissing the deck.
Obviously they are the exception. You pick the most durable and the guys with the most heart. Those guys (except Chuvalo) are all time greats. So obviously that kind of thing doesn't apply to them.
HEAD', the guy is one of the "that punch would've KOed anyone" brigade. It's best to treat his ludicrous posts with the contempt they deserve. patsch:dead
:rofl:nut Now you're moving the goal posts. A minute ago you said that anyone can get KO'd. Elite level ChinChecker Rico Spadafora rhymed off a list of Iron Chinned Warriors, and now you are saying they are a rare exception as they had heart.atsch Most fighters have heart, but they can't keep going in some fights because they are born with a Glass Jaw. Glass Jaws exist in boxing. It's time for you to accept the fact Tommy, and actually start voting in this prestigious poll. :deal
no, you dumbass. Anyone CAN be ko'd. that doesn't mean they will get KO'd. those guys were elite fighters with iron chins so that's why they didn't get KO'd. but it's not like they are invincible and will never get KO'd, because thats just a fact. it could happen to anyone but it didn't happen to those guys because they are just more durable then most other fighters. i never said glass jaws didn't exist either. obviously they do. but saying that they just magically appear cause a guy got KO'd once its bull****. cause khan got clocked against maidana and clearly didn't stop fighting.
Yeah, but if it happens MORE than once, then you have a pattern, and it is reasonable to conclude that the fighter does indeed have a glass jaw. Or, if a fighter faces a bevy of light-hitters and then gets starched against the first decent hitting fighter they face. IMO, most fighter's chins are shaky to one degree or another. The only question is how much.
Yeah. I agree with that. But in that case you can't say Tyson had a glass chin because he got knocked out by Douglas, Lewis, and Williams. And you can't say Mosley has one either if he gets knocked out in his next fights ( if he was more fights) because that's going to be based on age. And Khan just beat Maidana so you can't say he has a glass chin anymore.
No one could beat Kirkland. His opponent was who? And how old is Kirkland and how many tough battles has he been in before?
I don't know if you noticed but I voted for Kirkland. He's the most reasonable option. But this is only one fight, so we'll see. But his chin looks suspect right now
