It seemed to me like he lost a bit of power, but overall he looked better. He looked more like a combination puncher rather than a one shot at a time power puncher. Did anyone else think he lost a bit of punching power?
He's always been a combination puncher. He talked about it in Vitali build-up. or in HBO Ring Life.. edit: but he indeed looked a bit lighter handed last night..
Fat power> Muscle power. The secret to being a heavyweight knockout artist that Men's Fitness Magazine WON'T tell you.
He's simply down to where he started in weight, he may have lost a little bit without the extra weight behind it, but even fat, the guy had pretty good stamina and now that should be even better, he can still wear opponents out, he never really had one punch power anyways, he just throws a lot. More fights should tell more, he still stopped his opponent inside 3, good win.
He's never really been a big puncher, he was an extreme oddity as far as being as fat as he was and throwing a ton of punches....unusual workrate for a guy as out of shape as he was. If he did lose power, he may not have been putting as much behind his punches because he's broken his hands fairly recently.
he looked sharper and quicker. nagy was is pretty good shape also we had sparred with him a few times . whats next for chris. eugene hill out of houston woul like to fight him
