Another person who can point out what is wrong with no solution.

Look at me look at me. I endorse everyone going to bed on a full stomach. But how do you do that. Look I said I endorse it I didn't say I was going to do anything about it.

So you would accuse Nonito Donaire of the same thing? He works with Conte, and said on HBO that they can test him whenever they want. He said he welcomed it.

People raising red flag on Nonito but that's unfair.

    It's Conte's fault.

Any boxer who works with Conte puts suspicion on themselves whether they want to or not. I'm a huge Donaire fan, but he's no exception.

The big problem with working with Conte is that his guys never tested positive- which means even if you're 100% clean, your testing history is still the exact same as his other clients who it turned out were using.

I figure most guys in the sport have been on something over the past 40 years anyways, but Ward's stance here is hilarious. Him, Donaire, and Chambers are working with a brilliant PED man who specializes in his athletes never testing positive. Of course his clients will feel comfortable being tested whenever.

Maybe Victor's 100% clean now...or maybe it's the fox guarding the henhouse. He's got an assload of cash to gain by exploiting his connections to WADA and his newfound choir boy image. We'll probably never find out one way or another unless he gets sloppy.

No, because all the Pacquiao fans would immediately despise him and make endless hate threads. Since Pacquiao fans make up such a large chunk of the audience, wouldn't be smart in terms of $.

That said, he and Froch have both praised Olympic blood testing, so there's no real reason why not. Once again, the politics. When Ward becomes a PPV fighter, then he'll actually be able to do what 90% of people associated with boxing fear: show how boxing, like all other sports, is rampant with PED users.

Thanks, sorry if I came off shitty man. I just get fired up whenever this topic comes up and I hate seeing top-flight talent open themselves up for accusations by openly working with Conte.

For the record, I don't hate Conte at all. I figure he's just a guy fulfilling a need in the marketplace that'd still exist without him who happens to be damn good at his job. Exceptional, really- and now he can play both sides of the fence. With all that history there, though, I think it's just crazy for real up and coming stars like Ward and Donaire to voluntarily link themselves to him.

Amir Khan said boxers were urine tested then blood tested after their last fight. Random year round testing as well. That is Olympic Style Drug Testing. No blood testing in days before fights.

    there you go..

who the **** wants to get blood drawn at 3 AM in the morning because its a random test.

    **** that.

if he wants olympic style drug tests, he should go back to the olympics.

olympic standard drug testing isn't blood tests. only medalists get blood tested; after they have medalled.

olympic standard drug testing never stops. you can be tested all year round all the time; & those tests are from urine samples. if you only implement it for certain fights it is not olympic standard drug testing.

people use this phrase "osdt" & they have no ****ing idea what it means.

what a lot of you guys (& in fact floyd) are asking for is random blood tests for the entire build-up to a fight. that is not osdt. you do not give blood before a fight in the olympics. you do not give blood immediately before any match/fight in any sport. you are talking about something with no precedent anywhere & calling it "osdt". it just shows how well some people have muddied the waters & how clueless a lot of people on this site are.
