I mean in training? Pacquiao? We know alot of Americans got busted for steroids. That's not surprising anymore. How come they haven't been caught since.I think the testing has improved that the Americans can't rely on their steroids anymore. And have to go back to good ole hard yakka or hard work.I bet they are doing this :roll: when they see the word "hard work", :rofl because we know all you do is eat take aways and sit in front of your tv's and whine and rant.Even in the FIGHT these americans don't fight hard out. They cruise yo run and hit, hug and hold all night.
http://www.examiner.com/boxing-in-l...want-to-make-the-fight-that-s-his-prerogative What I saw in camp was far from amazing,” Smith would state following the Mayweather-Mosley bout. “It was unreal the things I had seen this guy do throughout the camp. I have never in my 24-years of boxing witnessed anything like this before. I witnessed Mayweather work out for two to three hours straight, and only taking ten second water breaks - with no bell, no minute rest, and no horse play. In the gym Mayweather is all about his business. I honestly can’t remember a single time throughout the entire camp that I even saw him get tired, and that includes during sparring, and regular workouts.”
OP seems to not like Americans, must hate that their home country probably only has 1 or 2 fighters that are noteworthy. Floyd, Bhop, Andre ward, Timothy Bradley are all gym rats who train extremely hard and are noted for their dedication.
Money Mayweather! By far the most popular boxer amongst serious boxing fans. The highest paid fighter in the history of the sport! And he's able to get more long term interest from his opponents fans than the opponents do. Able to double fight purses without fighting! Money by far and nobodyelse comes close!
Yes Tzyu was a training maniac. It seems like so many fighters these day like Jeff Lacy, Tavoris Cloud, etc think that training is just about coditioning. Granted Tsyu was obsessive about reaching optimal fitness but he treated his training like he was a scietist trying to develop himself into the ultimate fighting machie. He would spent hours everyday developing and honing all sorts of new punches and combinations, rehearsing perfect footwork, and meditating and cultivating the perfect fighter's mentality. Tsyu felt it was important to constantly challenge one's body with new challenging exercises instead of just the road work, punching bag, weights paradigm. He was one of the first to hit a bag moving off the back of a pick up truck, he also used the tennis ball exercises seen with Brother Naziim, and he was also among the first to introduce swimming, plyometrics, and spinning as alternative training methods. He was completely obsessed with perfecting himself.
Tszyu was a mediocre fighter who was a recipient of the right timing between fight eras. He never beat anybody in their prime. I mean Nobody!
