    Great, another one-sided beatdown...
Pac should retire, no good fights left for him thanks to that women-beating chicken mother****a.

Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum told the LA Times that Juan Manuel Marquez has signed to fight Manny Pacquiao for a third time on November 12 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Golden Boy Promotions has the contractual right to match any offer to Marquez through next February, however, and Arum told the Times that Golden Boy has not yet issued its “approval and consent” for the fight to go ahead.

    could this be a problem?

Yep, that would be the best option out there, vs Ortiz for the ring-title.
Cmon, prime-Marquez couldnt beat the weaker version of Pac, why should he stand a chance now?
Doesn't make any sense, does nothing for his legacy, just another money-fight.
Sucks big time, dont think I will even watch that crap.

I've said it before. There was no way GBP can match TR"s offer. JMM wanted this fight so bad and now he's got it. Be careful what you wish for.

I'm just hoping their third fight is also cut from the same cloth as the first two...

Pac wins. Juan is to high above his weight class. The fight should be at 140.

This fight will silence the critics either way. Nobody really wants to see this but what other options are there? Floyd aint happening.. Ortiz has not accomplished as much as Marquez. He has one big win. Thats it... Marquez has a better resume and has a valid point in regards to having the short end of at least one of the decisions.

at 140 this fight would be very close. At 47 marques get demolished, and pac gets no credit for it. Pac should fight him at 140 and add to his amazing legacy.

I'm pumped. Rooting for Marquez, but come on man, give him a catchweight of 145. It's unreasonable to have Cotto go down to 145 but not returning the favour for Marquez.
