Totally agree.Should be a cracking fight but I think Braehmer wont be able to deal with Clevs workrate.

I've had bets on both fighters to take it in the 7th and 9th rounds.

Ive got 20 quid on a 14 fight accumalator and Cleverly is the last one I need to win, so I hope to **** he wins:rasta

There was lots of talk of Cleverly stepping into Calzaghe's shoes , so lets see if he has what it takes.....please......

Clev will bully him, win every round and stop Braehmer in about six or seven rounds.

Forget about the judges, brahamer's work-rate is German. He throws hardly any punches to be honest. Clev can easily outwork him.

You wanna' see him fight a steady procession of Braehmer-level fighters and below for the next ten years???!?

He needs to be his own fighter.

Braehmer lands and things get interesting. Let's not get carried away. Braehmer is only champ because Erdei moved up in weight. Cleverly is ranked over highly at the moment, especially with the WBO. Remember this is for the WBO belt, the true champ is Pascal, Cloud and Dawson probably have a better claim.

You have to think a points win here for Cleverley or perhaps a KO for Braehmer. :good

Funnily enough, Calzaghe favourite Mario Veit's last fight was against Braehmer

Hopefully Cleverly shares Joes success, but does so by fighting a higher calibre, a la Mr Froch.

TBH, not that much considering the scope for failure. I placed it a couple of months ago, so Im not sure off the top of my head, but I think it was returning around £380, hopefully Ill find out Saturday:hey Shows how many mismatches are taking place sadly.

I live on the south coast & I think I saw a Messerschmitt heading north today

    The eagle may have landed.

"Essentially you have a hardened German criminal in the ring with a sporty Welsh boy with a maths degree, you would be mad to waste money on Nathan doing anything other than getting a beating."

OR, essentially you have a fighter well into his thirties who hasn't fought for over a year and has massive personal problems, in the ring with a young, fearless, unbeaten prospect in peak fitness?

I haven't seen JB, I don't know what shape he's in or where his head is, he has a very good record though.

I have seen a lot of Clev recently and am sure he has a good chance, and if Nathan expects to be fighting Cloud, Pascal etc he needs to be winning this one.

Edit: I do think Clev's chin will be tested at some point though, I hope he's got as good whiskers as I think he has!

I really fu*king hope he does but there's just something about Breahmer, i cant imagine Clev beating him. Should be a great fight either way though..

I think Clev will keep his distance in the early round picking Braehmer off with combos and breaking Breahmer down, Then go in for the kill in the later rounds for a K.O.

But Clev needs to respect Braehmer left hook or he could get himself in trouble
