WTF are people complaining about Groves / De Gale for?

People keep saying it's too early but some of the best matchups in boxing history are rematches or rubber matches! Personally I think when you've got two great fighters like these guys lets get it on or they'll only end up winning different belts and ducking each other for the next decade!

They'll fight again of that I am pretty sure. A loss for either one right now is not a career ender by any means; both these guys are potentially top level talent.

It's funny whow many posters on ESB complain about boxers being 'protected' with fighters like Floyd ducking manny and Manny taking easy weight drained or old opponents etc yet still complain when two guys in their youth with real skill fight each other early on - it makes no sense.

When both these guys have belts they won't want too fight and I'd rather see two skilled guys go toe to toe then to guys with some trinket belt apiece waffling on about their greatness and refusing to fight.

no prob with match up and agree with it .

my huge issue with this fight is its been used to sell a PPV .

just wished it was on terrestial tv so people could get to see this grudge match like the good ould benn v eubank days. amount of people i know who became boxing fans over that rivalry is ridiculous.

yep ppv sucks, sky are responsible for the big decline in boxing over here. Time for bbc or itv to get involved.

Im sorry but i have to disagree. Think skys coverage this year has been excellent. The only fight i wish they would have screened was Berto Ortiz.

Also proved their commitment by trying to make khans last fight a non PPV affair
