I actually was going to say you should add Canelo, but I realized he shouldn't be there yet for the same reasons

Any one who knows me knows that was a typo:patsch As for the post that said Salido is to high, well i disagree, check out his resume over the last 10 years its pretty damn good has only lost to elites Marquez,GAMBOA and one to then Champ Cruz which he later avenged... He has beaten some good guys including a recent one over Lopez and a very convincing win over Guerrero and a wins over solid opposition.
ANd to the poster who said Gamboa went 12 with Salido.. Wel:huh I cant think of of too many guys if any that would stop Salido at Fw? Guys is rugged as hell took Lopez bombs,Marquez never came close he is a very strong and rugged fw, Imo one of the most durable champs in boxing.

I wouldnt rank ortiz so high either, he beat a limited Berto and quit against Maidana, if anything you should have maidana ahead of him.

I say again about gamboa, he is a one division alphabet holder, didnt unify that division, best win was against Salido, yeah he good no denying but he still doesn't have the resume to be ranked that high.

And if you are looking at full careers then Morales is too low as well, but it looks like you ranked as of right now.

Well i think he had Maidana, if he fought with any brains it would have been a matter of time before he finished him off.. I just think Ortiz showed some improvement since then, and i think hes better off at WW.. Where as i dont think Maidana has improved, and although Morales is an atg and showed hes still good, lets not be to fooled, alot of it has to do with Maidana being flawed .. Dont get me wrong hes world class and one of the best JWs, but i just think Ortiz is better, i even think he was better than Maidana back then, but now he has passed him up with his recent impressive win.. Id love to see this fight at WW, im pretty confident Ortiz would ko him and do what he was about to the first time.

I agree Gamboa doesnt have the resume as others do, but Barros and Salido the 2 guys that went the distance have since proven to be top fw themselves and Gamboa won convincingly, he also has been blowing past his other opponents,,Solis was considered a top fw and Mtwaga although no serious contender was a tough guy who almost beat Lopez and Gamboa smoked him like nothing... Actually Salido has been a top fw for years and very underrated, infact i was the only one who picked him (on ESB) to beat Lopez, and it looks like he is still underrated:patsch Did you see his fight with Guerrero? He won convincingly, yes Guerrero has improved but IMO Salido deserves props for stopping a guy who was on alot of people top 10 pfp including the Rings. Ok back to Gamboa, i think him and Segura are the 2 best punchers pfp, and i also think Gamboa is one of if not the fastest fighters in the world at any weight, and also the most explosive fighter pfp, thats a pretty great combonation to have if you ask me... How many fighters would you pick over him in a fantasy htht pfp matchup?

Im not considering whole careers unless both guys are in their primes... For example Marquez has the better resume than Martinez overall ,but i think hes a little past his prime and Martinez has looked the sharper of the 2 recently, although Marquez is still elite.

Yey i rate Morales on his comeback, and his recent performance with Maidana . If i was going on past wins or titles,id rate Arce high up .. I wanted too and he showed lot of balls but i think he was lucky he was in there with a still green Vasquez(although gutysy and a somewhat good fighter). Arce was matched right if in with most top Jfw or Bw he would most likely lose.

Cazares could go a lil higher. Roman Gonzalez should go a lot higher. Arce should be on this list. Vazquez and Rios are too high for me as well.

Impossible to justify Margarito's placement here. Easily, 50 additional Latino fighters belong here before him. Impossible. Juan Diaz tough to justify too.

Having said that, I really like what you've done here. I think I'll post my P4P rankings of your listed fighters later. I particularly respect the general order of placements of Moreno, Soto, Narvaez, Maidana, and your top 4 (although I think Segura is clearly the 3rd best Latino fighter, not Gamboa).

    Good stuff!

Thanks:good I just think Margarito is underrated and even though he was shut out and took a beating vs Pac, he actually did better than most, and even Pac acknowledged Margarito hurt him and that this was a tough fight, I also believe that Margarito could repeat his win over Cintron and even Cotto... I wont rank hm over Cotto as he is on a win streak and looking solid but,im also not gonna rank a guy who i think could beat him too low either.

Gonzalez looks very good, would like to see some more title defenses or wins over other champs or former champs before i put him highter...As for Arce well i mentioned my opinions in the last post.... I think you could make a case for Diaz being higher or lower.. I actually think if he sticks at Lw he can give anyone a hell of a fight.. I see something in Rios, and i think he has a extra quality to win fights most guys of similar skills couldnt.. I also like his power and think hes improving under Garcia.

As for Vasquez he is kind of boring but hes very cagey, quick shows good lateral movement, excellent chin and a big Lw.. Ive seen him train up close in person and i think hes a handfull for anyone to beat and capable of pulling a some big upsets, ithink he can beat SOto, although Soto has the better resume. I did think about putting Cazares higher you might be right.

I like these additions to the thread starters' and their placement. I thought Calderon and especially Arce's absences were noticeable. Good one with Solis. Alvarez, not above Cintron or Acosta and not in my "top 30 Latinos", but I think he's not far behind. Call me crazy, I rank Alvarez over Rigondeaux...

I dont understand why you rank Lopez 9th but yet no Salido?? Also considering the opposition Mares has faced compared to Gonzalez ? I understand Gonzalez is talented but so is Mares!

you also have Maidana 37th on your all pfp top 100 list but Morales isnt rated??? How can that be when the fight could have even gone Morales way?
