Are Grant training gloves worth the extra money? Even the Cleto Reyes, are they worth the extra chunk of change? I have 18 oz Ringside Gloves now and was thinking about getting one of the other two. I know its all personal preferance but let me know what you guys think...Thanks

the first pair of sparring gloves i had (16oz) were just your normal pair that was nothing special and had heaps of empty spare room in them, i now have a pair of reyes 16oz gloves and there is no empty room. they actully feel like gloves and not pillows... they were 100% definatly worth getting and are so comfortable. it also has alot of wrist support that other gloves to not give (exceptions for grants, winning ect..) I havnt held a pair of grants so i cant tell u much about them

reyes cost like $100 usd a pair where as everlast gloves only cost 30ish usd but i do agree with you they feel really comfortable :good

matters on your budget, if you have loads of cash then by all means buy reyes but if your kind of on the edge like me save the money by buying the everlast gloves on amazon and use the leftovers for more trainer time

It is all a matter of personal preference which is generally based on how the gloves feel on your hands and how your hands feel after a hard workout. Get top of the line gloves. The cheap ones will wreck your hands.

I have three pairs but I only use two.

2 pairs ultimate classic 18 oz gloves. I like these gloves because I feel they dry fast and have alot of protection for the wrist and knuckles. These are used mostly on the bag.

1 pair of ultimate bag gloves. This is 16oz pair of gloves. I like this one for sparring portion of my workout. They say are made for the bag but I really like the feel while fighting.

the inner size. it actully goes with the saying " it fits like a glove". i got mine on ringside and there US $120 and there is alot of OK brands that charge that much.

In the short term they are more expensive but they will last a life time if you treat them correctly so in the long term are worth it instead of buying lots of **** pairs of gloves

Im going to get a pair for sparring in 14oz since i heard grant gloves come about 2 oz bigger than what they really are. I need them to last and stay fresh though , has anyone here had the pro training glove?
I need to pick a color out of the following so due to be always being undecisive, what color do you guys like the most

These gloves are for full contact sparring but they advertise them for the bag. I am not sure if my sparring partners notice and I do not give them a full disclosure before hand.

I know there are ridiculously priced - $236 but my friend gave me a pair of his used Winning MS-600 blue 16 oz gloves and they are excellent. Most of the padding in these gloves are concentrated in the knuckle area 6 layers of padding instead of 4 like Reyes and Grant. I've hurt my hands in the past and everyone knows this can set you back months so protection is a priority to me rather than making my opponents feel my punches. I plan to pay for my next pair since I'm very pleased.
