This fight was a horrible business decision by Roy. Going to Russia to fight for half the money he can make fighting in the states against a dangerous, yet relatively unknown opponent that he gains little from by winning. He does have a big fanbase in Russia, and im happy he does cause he needs all the support he get over there. Ive heard that hes fighting over there cause he wanted to travel, but I think he is probably treated better over there at this point and is tired of everyone in the states calling for his retirement. In Russia they dont care how old you are if your a big name. Ill be pulling for Roy. Is there anywhere the fight can be seen on tv?

roy's getting half a mil for the fight. i don't think he can get that in the us anymore. i think this was the option that paid him the best. i don't like the fight either. i hope he doesn't get hurt bad. it sucks to have to watch this but i'll be pulling for him like always.

no u.s. tv. fight is on sportbox.ru but it's blocked in the u.s. ****** will hopefully have a feed.

Ugh, not looking forward to this fight. I want to see Lebedev fighting at the top level, I don't want to see RJJ fighting at all anymore. It has the makings of a massacre too.

Rj does good early taking the first 3 rounds.. Lebedev starts getting thru around the end of the 3rd and 4th round huritng Jones but cant put the finisher, Jones showing good enough movement to get away.. In the 5th pow Lebedeve connects clean enough drops RJ..He gets up on wobbly legs, he shouldnt continue but ref lets him, dont take long till they stop it Roys corner throws in the towel Lebedev ko5

Dont know why hes taking on big punchers at higher weights, i mean this guy arguably beat HUck?? RJ could have found a better style.

I got the same response on another post. I am just going by the assumption that a great like Roy knows something we don't and that he is confident. Why would he sign to fight a guy he is going to get knocked out by. This is having confidence in Roy. He sees something he can exploit in Lebedev.

Roy Jones is addicted to the limelight, he is one of my all time favorites, right behind Thomas Hearns and Mike Tyson. Hopefully, he'll call it quits after this ass whupping.

Just because he sees it in his mind, doesn't mean he has the physical tools to be able to exploit it.

He's been getting his "ass whupped" for a decade, and that hasn't stopped him. But yeah, I hope he quits too.
