Ring website slams Pac/Marquez 3

As much as I hate on Pac, I am a Boxing fan first and have bought all of his fights. If he pulls this crap again? I am NOT buying it. Forget Pac and Arum. They can take their Mismatch Boxing Entertainment Events somewhere else.

Seems like the only way Arum will risk putting Pac in there with Mayweather is if the public starts to hit him in his pocketbook.

Of the opponents listed, I actually like the Cintron matchup. He has a good right hand and can box. I think he'd fare better than Cotto did.

 

This fight should be slammed.. Its a farce! I wont be ordering the PPV.. And I love pacquiao. I was dissapointed after the shame mosley fight!

Despite being owned by a GBP subsidiary, The Ring really hasn't shown much pro-GBP bias. People will naturally think there's bias involved when an article or action seems to be anti-Top Rank or defending GBP, but they've been plenty critical of GBP/GBP fighters in other instances as well.

They didn't make Mosley-Margarito a bout for the vacant WW title, despite sometimes making #1 vs. #3 matchups for vacant titles. They've kept Pacquiao above Mayweather in rankings, and dropped Floyd from the p4p ratings due to inactivity.

It's a far cry from The Source giving Made Men 4.5 mics.

 

JMM will still outbox Manny. Manny is still a wild fighter if you aren't standing in close range in front of him and moving. He'll lunge in and out with the same type of punches, but you have to be a great technician with good timing to catch him.

When it is beyond obvious that if the next fight was Pac vs Cintron or Pac vs Judah, this hate-filled **** would be writing an article savaging that fight and asking why Pac doesn't want to fight a p4p ranked fighter like Marquez.

This fight will set a career high on PPV buys for Pacquiao. So it will be a financial success. And with Marquez willing to fight to the death, it will be an entertainement success.

As for pleasing some of the esb fans with very suspect agendas (nay_sayer, his name says it all), it will be a disaster.

Truth. Pac fights old or shot fighters. Not men in their prime like him.

 

Ortiz would get the same beating if he fights pacquaio. Then haters will say his too green for pac. :deal
