....and possibly Paul Williams if he strings some wins together.

    I consider Donaire Fillipino.

This is not an American hate thread, I'm just highlighting how boxing has changed in recent years. It used to be all about the USA, but maybe UFC is taking over there? UFC isn't as popular in Europe, so maybe this is why.

I wouldn't have Ward in my top 10. Bradley is for sure though.

    What about Steve Cunningham?

Ward is no doubt a top ten p4p fighter on his recent resume alone(miranda, Green, Kessler, Arthur Abraham, soon johnson/froch), Bradley for sure, Mayweather when he comes back is guaranteed to be ranked at lowest 2nd on the list, then you can make an arguement for Donaire to be more American than Filipino, that's 4 of the top 10 some still have bernard hopkins in there and imo Andre Dirrell/or chad dawson will be on the lists within 1-2years, USA still by far has the best highest level boxers p4p

How can you make the argument that Donaire is MORE American than Filipino?

    He's talking sheeeiiitttt.

Donaire was born in the Phillipines. He is Filipino. Not really too difficult to understand at all.

I wouldn't put ward in the top ten until he fights a big fight OUTSIDE of the US. That is the measure, to go to someones back yard and beat them. heck, ward ain't left California yet!

Timmy Berto is a disgrace and should be replaced by Carl Froch.

the fact that either of these 2 is legitimately considered for the "p4p top 10" when they've both had nothing more than short, reasonably impressive world title runs; shows exactly what a joke the concept is & how ridiculously biased towards the american market it is too.

didn't p4p used to mean more than "win a world title, defend it a couple of times against decent (but not great) opposition"? actually; probably not.

I don't have Bradley in the top 10 yet, but I don't have a problem with Ward being there. If he beats the winner of Froch/Johnson he's comfortably there.

Ring Magazine has 2 americans in the top 10, neither in the top 5. How is that ridiculously biased?
