I don't care how heavy handed Lebedev is Jones can go the 12 I know it but whether he gets the 'win' is another matter. I'm not going to be so brash as to say Jones wins but you all massively underate the man; styles make fights and Lebedev hasn't really proven himself against any big names...I mean Huck? C'mon!!! Sad as it is to say I rate Huck and Macca even more than Roy Jones. His legs are just gone, he can't stand against the ropes against a puncher like Ledebev but he ultimatly will. Ledebev inside 3. Guess I must have forgot
people continue to support him will ead him to serious health problems. in fifteen years when he cant think or talk properly you shouting war jones aint going to cheer him up. if your real fan your heart would be broke watching this ****. the fight with slappy was unbearable to watch, even as far back as the 3rd fight with tarver, he aint **** no more once the athleticism went no fundementals to fall back on.
if you are really an RJJ fan and want to support him you would urge him to retire to keep him from getting permanently injured. Whos gonna take care of him if he gets brain damaged? Certainly not the fans.
It's hard to decide who to root for. Lebedev got reamed in the Huck fight, so I feel he deserves a payback. But you gotta love Roy. No fear. But I really wish he'd retire and preserve his gray matter. He can't possibly need the money.
well roy,even if its a almost no hoper. maybe roy got his brain sorted,and the weight will help him do a little better. if this guy isnt too hard to hit,maybe roy can muster a little speed and power to try get the job done.
Ill be pulling for him also. I hope he wins a grueling decision and realized that he doesnt want to put his body through this any more. I also gotta mention that there is a bit of a double standard here this weekend. Hopkins, who is 4 years older, has shown a decline in punch resistance himself including his reaction to getting hit by a rabbit punches, yet few people call for his retirement. It is inevitable that he will get old eventually and take punishment if he continues on, which he says he plans to. To all the people supporting Hopkins, but calling for Roys retirement since 2003, wouldnt you rather Hopkins get out sooner than witness him take damage in the very near future?
I have said a while back I like Jones here UD.. Jones even at this age can beat a guy who only has one hand... Any old school cat can do that even if they shouldnt be boxing anymore...
Give him credit. He's actually a good rapper. But this fight if he loses should be his last fight. If he wants one more in Florida for his fans thats it but this should be his last big fight if he loses.
