roy jones looks dead at the weigh in

He doesn't like ripped like he does at 175, but he looks to be in good condition. He's my favorite fighter all time... just wish he would've retired after he beat Trinidad. He could've at least gone out with a win. Sad to see him fighting at 41 years of age.

 

He weighs more than we are used to seeing him- and hes 42 but I think he looks in shape.roy has never undertrained for a fight so I doubt that he didnt put the work in. he does look ashy though. hopefully this is it for him. In all honesty its better that he retires on a loss from this guy than hopkins.

 

Facts are Facts.

You get money when you are young, you don't learn to appreciate them
You get money all of your career: you don't learn to save some, thinking it will always be there.
You're black: you have a posse of idiots that will suck you dry. Been happening with so many people now that it's not even funny.
plus blacks are flashier than whites, and flashy things are usually pretty **** investments (think custom jewelry, rims, brand new supercars that depreciate at 20% a year, 30 000$ liquor bottles, etc etc).

A bit stereotypical are we? Not all blacks are flashy. It's fair to say some blacks are like that but not all.

 

Roy is not broke, he never spent wrecklessly, the guy donated more money to charities than he ever spent on himself. Do a little reasearch instead of believing all the rumours. I can tell you for a fact that he is in a good financial state and does not need to fight for money. Why is it so hard to believe that a guy who has been fighting his whole life just wants to fight?

 

This is a very true statement. White people for the most part are pretty reserved while Black folk are the opposite and tend to blame their failings on whitey while ironically hating them and ignoring every ****ing thing to do with them :S

That isn't to say its true for everyone people are people and we're all different regardless of colour but generally yeah it's true. Black folk for some reason feel the need to define themselves by acting like this when they don't actually need to.

It's self destructive and it's upsetting because the smartest mofo's I've ever met in my life have been black! I'm talking real logical people with level headed thinking and rationale here.

Meh, race ****it. It's all bull****. We're all dicks to one another if only there were some way of truly seperating good folk from bad the world would be a lot better place to live in.

He looks terrible. Hopefully he can grab a bit more Sugar Ray and a lot less Mr Bojangles.

 

Roy's looks by far the worst i've seen him look physically. His face and body look fat for his standards.

 

How do you know this for a fact? He was just slapped with 3 million dollars in backtaxes.
