Round 1

Seawright jabs into the chest of the much taller Hunt, and collapses into him for some awkward clinches. He's keeping it up, and digging to the kidneys while clasping. Unwarned, so far. Ugly stuff. Hunt puts him in a chicken-wing lock. The referee is getting annoyed. Both warned. AGAIN Seawright smacks Hunt down low just above the bum on the break. Hunt tries to get a long jab going on the little man but keeps getting grabbed, intentionally. RABBIT punch now in the clinch. Seawright hasn't received one personal warning and he's done just about every dirty deed except a groin shot or bite! atsch More kidney punches while holding. FFS, ref! He warns them both again. Hunt gets out behind his jab and makes an effort to keep Seawright off.

Round 2

Long jab from Hunt, strafing off to the side when Seawright tries to dive in for a grab behind the small of his back. Seawright keeps clinching and landing to the body, but largely illegal blows around the backside. Literally spanking him like a child. Hunt has no confidence in getting a jab off now in between clinches/breaks, and is just holding his arm out to catch Seawright. Hunt finally gets a burst of energy and circles off to his left, trying to establish his jab. He converts it into a hook as Seawright barrels in, but catches him again. Seawright slips a few long punches well, ducking on the outside. Clinch. Seawright throws a few barely-legal body blows to the flanks. Seawright is brazenly standing in front of him with his left low, threatening with up-jab feints.

Can't score this one for Hunt, as much as it's distasteful to reward Seawright for what he's doing.

Round 3

Hunt is still getting rag-dolled by the smaller man. Pure diarrhea; a grotesque corruption of the sweet science. Hunt manages to squeeze off some lone jabs during the breaks, (which the referee is calling for every five seconds) but Seawright keeps getting in there. Wow, there's a rare outside shot from Seawright - an overhand right that lands. More wrestling. The ref is going hoarse yelling for breaks. More holding and kidney-punching from Seawright. Hunt is not doing well at boxing tall. He's not allowed to do much well at all here. Good jab lands, but not enough.

Round 4

Break! Break! Break! Break! Break! :roll:

Shoving and grinding, twisting arms. Hunt is getting treated like a stepchild. Seawright is not boxing well, but he is physically dominating. Hunt tries to clobber him with some gavel shots from above as he comes in, but Seawright soon has an arm looped around his waist and is working that free hand to cause mayhem on Hunt's backside. They grapple a bit more, and now it's actually Seawright looking to get some distance and try to throw from long range. Lead hook lands partially as Seawright again collapses in behind it against Hunt's chest. Seawright ducks a jab and has it bounce off the back of his neck as he butts Hunt in the stomach.

The referee raises Hunt's arm at the end of the round. Eh. I actually don't think he deserved the win on the ten-point must system but...Seawright gets no tears from me.

We were in all probability headed for an epic finish one way or the other. Howard John Foster in his infinite wisdom saw fit to deprive us.

As you can see, Doran gets hit with a big shot that has his equilibrium totally ****ed for a moment as he sprawls and frantically kicks out his back leg looking for solid ground. Then they exchange wildly, and Maxwell is caught similarly with a left hook that has his equilibrium shaken. Then Doran follows up and snaps Maxwell's head around with a wild right hand and sends him lurching toward the ropes. He starts to flurry into Maxwell's face as Max is spinning around to meet him and getting his hands up defensively, still very much with his wits about him.

Awful stoppage. Maxwell spent two minutes and change badly hurting Doran, and then he gets tagged and mildly hurt for all of five seconds and is "in no condition to continue"? Please.
