Holt won't be able to take Maidana' power. Period!

 

Holt can't take Maidana's power, Maidana can take power he beat Matthayse 3x and Ortiz by taking their power and dishing out his own.

 

Gotta go with Marcos in this one,..he wouldnt stop and just that ,IMO,..would be enough to break Holt down and defeat him....

 

I think Holt can do it. Holt has the skill and the power. If his head is clear, he has the ability. Maidana is not to be played with. He reminds me of a young Mayorga, but with more discipline.

 

Maidana gets dropped early, gets up and punishes Holt leading to a 7th round stoppage

 

Maidana is a tough come forward guy, but he takes a lot of shots. Holt has extreme explosiveness and power when he's threatened, sometimes it works and sometimes it has failed for him. In this case, and where Holt seems revived while Maidana is coming off a tough fight, I pick Holt by early KO, but admitting Maidana could just as easily catch Holt too, just a feeling I have, Holt catches him first. I wish this fight was real, it would be great while it lasted for sure.

 

Damn, good match-up! If you're talking a focused Holt, no out of the ring garbage, then I might favor him over Maidana. But Maidana is more tested, at least of late, and has tons of heart. I really don't know. Would love to see this fight.

 

I agree. Maidana looked not his usual self he looked starstruck vs Morales his idol. Holt not good with pressure

 

A toss up, I like them both. That left hook of Holt is lethal.
