Will Dawson come into the fight tonight with the Victor Ortiz' Berto mindset?

    During the build up of the Berto fight, Ortiz started living up to his nickname and dropped his "golden boy" (no pun) image and in the actual fight looked quite badass, even had a new beard. Do you think Dawson will do the same or something similar seeing as some people questioned HIS heart after the Pascal loss? I'm going with yes... His nickname is "Bad" afterall...

    Dawson is and always has been far from done.I see good things happening with Dawson in fights to come,starting with tonight.

    No excuses but IMO,Dawson gave the fight to Pascal.Its his own fault but sometimes fighters need something like that to happen to them to get the fire back they once had.I'll say it again,props to Pascal for fighting the fight and taking the belts,but i always believed Dawson was and is the greater fighter.

    Starting tonight will be his first step at making believers out of the boxing world and getting back what he once had.

    So the answer to the TS question,yes.Dawson knows damn well he cant lose this fight tonight.

    I Agree, he did give the Pascal fight away though im not so sure if it would've gone the distance if dawson didn''t get stopped because of the cut, I think he'll make a statement tonight but i can't see him changing his style up too much, just have a bit more of a killer instinct. I'd say he's just behind Mayweather in terms of pure boxing ability and theres no reason he can't consistently show it from here on out. If he wins tonight I say he beats the winner of tonights title fight (im picking Pascal) and defends until he meets Andre Ward. Would've loved to see Dawson-Calzaghe too....

    Different styles though. Dawson doesn't have and never will have the mentality to be able to take a fight to his opponent and fight on the inside like Ortiz did against Berto.

    That said, he can learn to step on the gas a bit more at times and it'd be great if he did that tonight.

    I hope so. Dawson has all the tools, he just needs to have the right mentality to become one of the best fighters in the world. Much like Andre Dirrell.

    Andre Dirrell is another one, soo much talent and skill, I gave him the benefit of the doubt in the Froch fight because it was his first title fight (Which I thought he won) but when he was in there with Abraham it looked like he actually came to fight, with his head right he's more than enough for anyone in the SMW div except for Ward and maybe Bute.

    Dawson will bounce back , the comeback starts tonight and I see a win over Pascal in the near future .
