Smoger is known for that ****... It's helped a few fighters in the past like pavlik when he was dancing round the ring early on against Taylor. But this was sad, wrong ref for a rjj fight. Don't really blame anybody. I like rjj but he chooses to continue. Poor decisions all round.
smodger was way too slow, that last punch should never of happened. That slow reaction from the ref could of cost roy's life. Time to retire for roy, actually it was time to retire after he lost to tarver the third fight.
roy was already near out, he couldn't even stand up, and was defenless, and all smodger did was stand there. Even the opponent waved to smodger before he landed that last punch that knocked roy out cold. Aweful from the ref. supposed to protect the fighters.
In smogers defence he perhaps wanted to see rjj to the end of the fight... And when he covered up with both hands bent over he might have thought he was still in it. It does look very bad though even by smogers standards.
I wouldn't pay to see Roy at this point in his career and I don't generally go for the patriotic fan stuff - I support whoever I enjoy seeing fight most (the exception to this is when a Scot fights an Englishman of course ). By no means am I a huge Roy Jones fan but even I felt terrible seeing him get KTFO tonight (again). It's getting to the point where he's really put his long term health at risk, he can still box in spurts (although not like his prime) but his resistance is gone. I wish he would retire. I mean FFS it has gotten to the point where I would even feel guilty betting on Roy to get KO'd.

Really well said on the underlined bit, its at the stage as the KO showed where Roys not just putting his legacy in danger but his health that goes from sad to scary. Lebedev's not a ****, dunno the numbers but "the gost of the ghost of Roy Jones" probably earned the Russian a lot of money and sadly a rankings boost no doubt in our crazy sport. If theres a **** here its the people that give RJ a licence but thats another debate. For every Calzaghe/Lennox theres so many Ali's, Holyfield's, Roy Jones' etc easy for us to say "for ****s sake give it up" but when its all you know its gotta be tough to hang em up. Tragic but true
