Calzaghe didn't know where to put himself all night. Even after the fight Nelson couldn't accept it.... it was embarrassing. Maybe he's gotten a bit too big for his boots as co-host on Ringside and thinks he can say whatever he wants and get away with it. Hopefully the head honchos at Sky either have a word with him or send him packing. In the past few weeks when they've had Barry on it's shown Nelson up for the bumbling idiot that he is.
Noticed that too, he gets like an excited child, just stfu and let the guest speak. McGuigan actually had to tell him to let him finish on several occasions.
Nelson was really annoying. One of my pet hates is people who interupt others when they are talking, its just rude! Nelson is the worst offender for this, just shut up Johnny! Jesus! Id prefer Barry to him any day of the week.
It's clear to me, Nelson enjoys cupping DeGales sack. He'll go away now, regroup... and then come back cupping Klitschko's sack no doubt. Watch this space.
This is the truth. Wee Barry talks a lot of sense and then Nelson follows that up with waffle **** he looks even worse. McGuigan must laugh his balls off after they film, Nelson makes him look like a boxing Adonis. Nelson tries to put expression and exaggeration in his tone, but despite this excited tone, he looks a complete dummy after he has delivered his cliche-ridden bull****. I have been saying this for months, Nelson is the worst pundit - hands down. He does ok with Smith when they go out and do the documentaries and visits the gyms, keep on those jobs, and far away from fight night.
Great post :deal Groves fought a smart fight IMO. 115-113 on my card, fair play to Adam Booth, who had Groves fighting like himself in this fight and not a poor Haye imitator. Groves has little power IMO though. Shame.
i remember McGuigan actually having to say to Nelson "let me finish" while Nelson was itching to jump in and nut hug degale some more! Barry was saying how the crowd could get to degale while nelson in the back ground was going "Nah, naahh" like a child. I love how Groves and Hayemaker won, it was like giving two fingers to the chavy Warren stable.
It's worse when they are in a studio with a table, he's always talking with his hands, usually whilst holding a pen atsch When I first started watching regularly I thought he was pretty good, it's only since I started posting on here that I've started to think he's poor.... last night was the worst I've seen him. I think I'll watch the Groves vs DeGale episode on Ringside now for a laugh.... will be funny how he reacts next time Groves is on. Wouldn't surprise me if it was next week.
I know I laughed at that - he is a tit! Seeing Groves, Haye, Booth and Coldwell smiling like Cheshire cats at the end for the photographers with the belts - was ****in class, especially on Warren's big show. You could just smell the success from Team Hayemaker, it was like a collective moment when they could all literally taste the success from their spit, whilst Warren and co all ****ed off to the dressing room in bitter shock.
Degale looked shook when the cameras were on him just before the fight was going to happen, fact. I like Nelson as a pundit as he is very passionate and he know's his stuff, but my god has he been on Degale's **** for the last few weeks.
I know, he must think he is coming across as the boxing professor with the pen in the hand, giving it large
