I don't like Floyd at all, but I think his skills are superior to Hopkins.

ODLH beat more world champions than any of the other guys listed but doesn't deserve to be in the same sentence, apparently. Hindsight rocks! RJJ always had a fragile chin! Pac spent his career beating up shot fighters! Floyd cherry-picked his way through all the divisions! ODLH lost all his big fights! I think you might be using the word "mainstream" incorrectly.

 

Perhaps I'm being too generous, but I'd include those for sure. While Pac and Floyd have been more consistent, lots of those mentioned have better single wins than Pacquiao or Floyd.

 

Remove ODLH, he's an ATG but somewhere lower top 50. Floyd and Pac are ahead of all 5. Jones and Hops are very close. Maybe Hops a tad higher for me.

I agree with this. I also want to point out that 3 fighters whose names are bing bandied about: Mosley, Rjj and Holyfield (as much as I appreciate each of them and their acomplishments) are known drug cheats.
