Greatest fighter since Whitaker: Pacquiao, Jones Jr, Hopkins or Mayweather?

As much as i'd like to, I can't possibly put Hopkins above Pacquiao with Pac's multi-weight conquests and his overall resume, which clearly surpasses that of Hopkins.

Head to head, Jones was the best of the 4 at his peak. I tend to think that if all 4 were the same weight at their very best, Pacquiao would lose to the others, with Jones winning them all.

 

For one, floyd wasnt made to look frustrated & amateurish by a bit of defensive boxing, Mosely came to fight & was thoroughly beaten both defensively & offensively by mayweather, Shane came to survive vs pac & still had pac looking lost at times... Shane landed two solid punches in rd 2 vs floyd & finished that same rd backing up, his success was non-existent after that... pac might have put Mosely down & floyd might not have but floyd dominated his rds better & like I said earlier, looked in complete control mentally, pac wasnt comfortable with Mosely`s style at all.

Pac-Mosley was so competitive that two of the judges DISREGARDED A KNOCKDOWN RULING.

 

It's arguable but for me what sealed the deal was Mayweather's ability to adjust and land accurate shots. He also showed me he had the balls to walk down Mosley. And unlike most people I choose to give Floyd credit for surviving round 2. He proved to me he can be put on ***** street and still be able to focus and come back stronger.

Pac knocking down Mosley was impressive. However chasing someone down with sheer aggression isn't as impressive as breaking him down with an effective game plan. Pac didn't really show me anything different other than good power which I already knew he had going into the fight. Him not being able to deal with Mosley's movement very well is a minus.

Fo the record - I think both floyd & pac are a disgrace to the past p4p greats, taking this long to fight each other is shameful... but I do rank both as the greatest fighters since Whitaker.

the huggery on pac man is unbelieveable. the guy has weight drained fighters, fought guys coming off losses, and fought shot, old fighters. his fights with marquez were damn close, many thought marquez won both of them. roy for years has dominated fighters, consiudered to be one of the best. fighters of all time he beat hopkins and toney in his prime. hopkins has beaten top fighters, and has schooled young ones to date at the ripe age of 46.

there was ****ing fear in Mosley's eyes from round 1 when he fought PAC. He feared to be KO'D OUT. Mosley looked better in some rounds and had Mayweather in trouble in round 2.

Pac made Mosley like a running chicken. :rastaPac is making Mayweather like a chicken too! Running like a chicken away from PACQUIO!
