Yep...as I mentioned earlier, some of the hardest shots he took in his prime were from Griffin...I dont think up to that point and beyond (until recently), anybody had tagged him that often and hard. Anyways, he took them very well, but I'll also concede, Griffin is not Mike Tyson either from a power perspective.
James Toney was no 1 punch KO artist, but he had decent power at SMW. He hit Roy with a monstrous right hand flush on the chin and Roy didn't even flink. I think most other SMWs would have been stopped right there. As I said, everybody can be KOed, after Roy got KOed by Tarver it got blown up and suddenly everybody else thought they could do the same while Roy became a bit gun shy. It was more of a mental thing than Roys chin itself. This, combined with sliding reflexes and some poor match-making, were Roys downfall.
