    Hopkins is the most complete fighter of our era but it's ultimately academic because Floyd is simply better than him.

    Nard's got more depth in his skill set than floyd. He had to become a "Wizard" moreso than Floyd who relies a lot on his athletic gifts to help him out defensively. He's got great reflexes and speed that help him stay out of dangerous spots.

    Hopkins doesn't have all that. he has to be more savvy, using INSTINCT over reflexes to time his faster opponents with sharp accurate counter shots.

    Why are people acting like it is a crime to be athletic? That is what you guys are basing this on? Floyd isn't no Roy Jones. He is technically sound in his defense. Im not going to penalize another fighter because he was born more athletic. Floyd has better defense.

    :lol: shut up. The only reason he adds that last part was a because I called him out and said Zab was younger, faster and more powerful than Floyd was bigger than him at the time, so he had to add the last part

    I'd say Mayweather has better defense overall , but Hopkins has a lot more versatility defensively, and offensively.
