    5 years ago would have been a terrible time for this fight. Floyd was at the top of boxing p4p or near the top and Shane was off of the p4p list. Neither fighter was considered a draw, and Shane would have been the bigger draw. The money would have not been there at all. Now is the only time both fighters have been ranked so high p4p at the same time. When Mosley was high on the list in the past, Floyd was much lower on the list and was fighting in the basement at Cobo Hall.

    Mosley was good in the Margarito fight. But that was a year 1/2 before Floyd fought him. He got old overnight. Why should anyone give Floyd props when he waited so long to fight Shane. This was really his first legitimate WW fight, after being in the division for 5+ years.

    People give Pacquiao **** for not fighting Shane, but he had just moved up to welter. He was still testing the waters. Floyd had been around for a long time , and was ducking all the top fighters in the division, Margarito, Coto, Mosley, and now Pacman.

    Keypoint: Roach/Pac wanted nothing to do with SSM when he looked good but they had no problem challenging him after he looked shot!

    mosley was avoided more by mayweather than pacman,remember when mosley was in his prime manny was way under ww but mayweather had been there for a while.i just couldnt believe how much different the versions of mosley were between floyed and mannys fights.mosley was aggressive and going for the knockout with mayweather but with manny he was plaine terrified.
