During a thread last night I was talking with boxed ears about if Roy and FLoyd fought in a fantasy p4p matchup who would win. Im convinced Roy's style speed and power would be all wrong for mayweather. Boxed ears thinks differently, which he's entitled too. But He stated Since mayweather beat mosley, he would have no problem with roy since there are virtually no differences between mosley and Roy. For me, they are completely different. Both power boxers, but done so in such a different fashion. Does anyone else agree with the comparison? Or am I right for thinking roy has a style of his own, which no one can really replicate, with unrivaled speed (foot and hand speed) and power combined, with agility and reflexes that no other fighter had. Please discuss because I want to know if I'm alone, of if boxed ears is just a little toooo big on floyd.

All around, Floyd is not only the better more skilled fighter, but is much more durable and takes a better punch than Roy. While Jones learned to rely on his reflexes, Floyd worked on his skills. I think that is what Boxed Ears said, and I agree.
It makes a lot of sense telling me to shut the **** up when I'm trying to see what others one esb think between similarities of roy and shane. And roy in his prime could take a good punch, he certainly wouldn't be deterred by mayweathers power.
