I think you're right.. but Toney's power could frustrate Hopkins and keep him at bay.. but I'm going with Hopkins..
it was at 168 and Toney lost 60+ lbs in 4 weeks leading up to the fight, he was a zombie. Agreed also James was as crafty and an "old pro" after 20 pro fights as Hopkins was circa 2005. James is a better defensive fighter and he does it without a spoiling or anti-boxing approach. He has an iron chin, a much greater offensive arsenal, much more active offense and his "old school" makes Hopkins look post-modern. :good
Hopkins keeps this at a distance and uses his legs well enough to frustrate Toney to a close win imo.
