Which fighters have corrected flaws best?

Martinez has improved his power a lot. Before the loss to Margarito i think he had only six KO wins. Moved up in weight and developed power.

Arturo gatti in the later stages of his career. Wasn't just brawling. Showed a nice jab and some defense but he was still a fighter at heart

Not quite corrected because he use to have it and then stopped doing it but in the foreman fight, cotto went back to being a good body puncher.

 

Arturo gatti had better success when he started using has jab and being more disciplined in his attack. he was just clearly bested when a PURE BOXER in Mayweather had his way with him.

 

His defense and all round ring intelligence. Ariza deserves huge credit with his conditioning.

 

Of CURRENT fighters, Wladamir by a mile. He didn't just make a few improvements here and there...like, say, Pac. Wlad went from ROCK BOTTOM, which is where he was after losing to Sanders in a humiliating fashion, and then his odd and embarassing loss to Brewster.

For all intents and purposes, his career was over then.

What he has done since is a near miracle. Yes, his style is boring, and I am a big fan of his...and even *I* say his style is boring now. But what he has done is come up with the perfect style for what he's got to work with. Stewart has done his job to perfection.

He got Knocked out so he wouldn't keep takin punches. Saved himself from brain damage.

 

I wouldn't say Wlad has improved all that dramatically until we see the Haye fight. His level of competition has been too putrid to tell anything from it, the best opponent in terms of in-ring condition and threat value he's faced since losing to Brewster was his first fight against Samuel Peter. Most of his opposition does not even try or doesn't have the tools to hurt him. To me, his style encourages an opponent to go right after him from the jump, because you know that he will barely throw anything other than his jab in the first few rounds. We'll see how he does against Haye, who at least on paper has the necessary speed and power to put hands on Wlad and make it count.

 

Wlad and Lewis both taught by Steward to protect those chins.

 

Khans got even faster although it wasn't a flaw. His defense has improved. I don't know if chin can improve but he deals with a hit better.
