Can an employer stop you from boxing??

    If they are fronting your insurance? Sure.

    Why would you tell them though?

    I've been hurt a lot more playing cricket than boxing. That being said, I know that the medical proffession frowns upon pugilism so I'd try to keep it to myself.

    I used to work at Mayo Clinic here in roch, and their policy isnt so much about the danger as the professionalism (coming to work banged up) and i was straight forward with em. I told em i boxed and i was gonna keeep boxing. I came in with the insides of my ear bruised as well as a BEAUTIFUL fresh shiner one day and they didnt say ****. it was actually a hell of a conversation starter with the patients i had. Eventually my supervisors n co workers asked to come to my fights lol. It was pretty bad ass

    thats awesome...im not gonna mention anything except to a few choice people (one person really) but hopefully eventuall i wont have to hide and they can be cool with it
