"Pikey Joe **** Cheek" was the name my mate gave him the other night...i was laughing my tits off at that.

as for his ability he's already had trouble with his hands apparently. if he can steer clear of that then he can go far in my opinion.

It's all guess work isn't. Then all of a suden he runs into a fight like Degale did and we're all having doubts all of a sudden.

Whoever posted the comment about him fighting someone that punches back was spot on. Until then we know nothing.

Thats what was being said about Tom Dallas and look what happened.

All these new breed coming through are being nurtured far too easily IMO and all of them will keep winning if they fight in Britian and all will fall flat on their face when they go in against someone decent.

So is BJS going to be campaigning at middleweight? To me he looks like he could take off a few lbs and get down to light middle. like to see him step up and fight a tough lad like Martin Concepcion

Tom Dallas always looked stiff and wooden though, on the other hand BJS has looked very good at times

One of Hertfordshire's finest, I live about 10 minutes away from his caravan site so I tend to root for him. The only worry is it's pretty early days to be having hand troubles.

Yes against the opposition he has been in with so far, we can all look good against poor opponents.

Yes but my point was, even against poor opponents Dallas never looked very good so it's not a good comparison to say that all British prospects with big promoters are being matched poorly in terms of their improvement.

I think it does, Dallas was meant to be one of the new breed coming through, I hope Billy Joe is but im not holding my breath.

Dallas was never part of the new breed, he was lumped with Towers and Olubamiwo. People considered Fury/Price/Chisora to be the new breed.

After I saw his sparring with Price a few months ago I realised he wouldn't go far at all.

Same goes for Fury and Price....Chisora is the only decent one!

We'll have to see how Price handles McDermott, but I think he's looking the better one of out the three atm.
