Anyone see it? I just watched it after recording, a moving and inspiring piece but what a decent guy he was. True legend of British sport.
Had to record it, but looking forward to it. Unfortunately it won't be on iPlayer due to copyright issues, so fill your boots.
I watched it on Sunday and just watched it again...:yep A very moving tribute to a true icon and legend of British Boxing...:yep Our 'Enry...:deal
It got all very emotional for me when they covered his wife and showed footage of her listening to Henry's fights on the radio. He had a real keeper.
i watched it. i thought it was very good, very well put together and a fitting tribute, i found it quite sad at some points, but all in all, very good. michael parkinson said "i think of henry cooper and bobby charlton, as sportsmen from another era who had a kind of hero status, not like the sportsmen we have today". so true.
Don't think that its on Iplayer. Don't know why but i couldnt find it either. Lucky enough i got to see it last night though.
