Wait, I thought Margo is the same size as Martinez according to some?

    I guess not...

On topic - only partially. It will not be the same beating at 154 or 160.

Of course not. Even at 160, the haters would come up with excuses.

Pac will never take this fight because Martinez will not give him the advantage like Pac other opponents have done since he's moved to the welterweight division.

I think people have gotten tired of these catchweights as of lately. Everyone understood the Cotto at 145 and rushing the fight to Nov. , but if you continue to fight guys at this and that weight it gets to a point were people will get tired.

Manny deserves props for even getting in the ring with Martinez IF this was ever to happen.

As far as the weight goes...
(I don't know how history will look at this if even when it's all said & done?)

The question is he gets a title at 154, but he cant fight the man at 154 even when Martinez has mention 155 is real hard to make. Go Manny shut your critics and show them:D

Martinez would have to lose 8 pounds. I wonder if he could do it.

Then they would want him to fight Hopkins...and then they would want him to fight a Klitschko. Manny isn't a god, it's shocking he has gotten be welterweight phenom after spending most of his career at super feather and starting at flyweight.

It's only ok to make much smaller fighters come up in weight, right?

Actually, I think catchweights should be eliminated altogether. If you want to fight for a man's title, fight in that man's division. Period.

Martinez has said several times he can go down to 154. In fact, he´s considering it, because there´s no money fights at 160.

Of course not. It's not a realistic weight anyway.
