that's great insights man, i think im at peace now.. i was just expecting somthing better after the mosley fight i waited months to end.. but thanks for the wisdom..
Pacquiao already said before that he could fight Marquez at halfway or @140 but since the contract said its on @144 thats must be a Roach and Arum who seem too afraid to deal with Marquez sheet....fukc... i believe Pacquiao will destroy Marquez now even @135
yeah you're right man, he has taken alot of pain for what he has worked so long for, and now he doesn't have to be hungry in the streets anymore.. i guess im just stuck on him being the #1p4p and expecting nothing but the best from him.. and what he says about he wants to give us the best fights and all that..
I got caught in the express too that i forgot we're basically watching our favorite fighters at the twilight of their careers. They seem to be the ones who knows when to call it quits. Probably in the process of sealing their investments. Fans have the tendencies to think these fighters are indestructible. I honestly dont wanna see them exit boxing ala RJJ.
i feel you, i never wish that on any boxer.. but manny does have 2fights left after this one.. i just hope the most out of it while it last
As great for pacman as it would be defeating marquez at lightweight... Marquez would get next to know credit for beating pac at 135, everyone would be screaming weight drain. On the flipside marquez has weighed 145 on fight night recently looking fantastic and securing a top 5 p4p place.
WTF? They should fight for 140 then. But then again, Pac wants to defend his title at WW, so **** it, let them fight at 147 for all I care. Let him fight for lightweight then let him fight for Martinez belt, if that's what pac wants. If If If
Simple - to make another of Floyds leftovers have slim to no chance of winning, and slim has just left the building. He saw how Marquez couldn't cope with putting on weight to fight Mayweather, so Pacquiao wants the same. He will never fight anyone who has a chance of beating him, they are either over the hill, weight drained, asked to fight at a weight too high for them or they are a Mayweather leftover. And slim has just left the building
What test? Is the negotiation between Floyd and PAc already signed? I know blood testing is in the negotiation. but the fight should be signed first.
Regarding the catch weight fights Pac has been in, while im not a huge fan of them, I think people make it a bigger issue then it really is. Pac vs Hoya at 147...the welterweight limit is not a catchweight and Hoya jumped all over this opportunity expecting to bully Pac. He got what he deserved. Pac vs Cotto at 145...Cotto weighed in at 146 in his previous fight so i highly doubt 1 pound made any difference. He prolly just had a wank/**** right before the weigh in and made the weight just fine. Cotto even stated the weight was no issue at all. Pac vs. Margo at 150...Margo made a career out of fighting at 147...they gave him three extra pounds to work with. No problem there. The only prob was that it was for a title. Pac vs Marquez at 144...regardless of whether these guys fight at 135, 140, or 147, come fight night there will always only be just a few pound difference separating them once fully hydrated. The guys are more or less the same size.
