Don't worry James I'll tell you why

You're arrogant, cocky and you have a large mouth which says things you can't back up

You showed no respect to George, and you didn't back up what you said

You're a classroom bully picking on a ginger kid, calling him "ugly" and implying that he smelled went far beyong pre-match hype

Mayweather is brash and arrogant, but he has every right to be as he is an ATG. You had 10 professional bouts and you're talking about becoming a world champion and how you're gonna knock out "ugly kid" within 6 rounds

The British publich like people like Ricky Hatton, humble and a man of the people. We like underdogs and have no time for cocky, smart mouthed prats like you

You bet your purse on this fight to make sure George didn't get a pay day, you showed no respect towards George and Adam Booth and you got what you deserved, a defeat.

The crowd boo you because we don't like you, click any youtube video with you in and read the comments below. Every user is laughing at you because you're a classroom bully and you got what you deserved.

Every time you enter the ring you will hear the world "And with one defeat" for the rest of your life

Man up, show some respect, apologise to George and congratulate him on an excellent fight in which he layed down his tactics well and showed alot of heart and desire. Don't say "He ran away all nght, what was I supposed to do?" well james a world class fighter would have found a way, and you didn't

    Learn some manners

Well to be fair the British public loved Prince Naseem, and he makes DeGale seems like the shy retiring type.
I think its the fact that he cant back up his bravado.

The funniest thing about DeGale is his assertion that there's only 2 fighters in the World who could beat him. That must make George Groves an ATG! Fool. I was delighted the fight went the way it did. And now the board have ruled that there won't be an immediate rematch too, so they won't meet again for a year or two at least. DeGale could probably still have an impressive career if he tones down the cockiness a little and realises that to become a truly great fighter, you have to work at it, and not just talk about it.

Frank Warren is a grade A piece of **** too.

It worked with Nas, works with Haye.

It just doesn't suit DeGale. It makes him look like an A Class nob.

His version of trash talking is terrible personal insults.

With Naz, all his insults were toungue in cheek, he never had anything bad in his heart towards his opponent and he says so himself on a youtube video with Adam Smith

He was a very likeable character, there is a great youtube video of Naz looking cool in a blue adidas jacket speaking to Des Lynam and speaking to Lennox over in America. He was a very likeable guy.

Naz would never be the condisending towards an opponent, and he would never bet his purse which I thought was totally disrespectfull towards George, and Jim Mcdonnell trying to get a side bet with Adam Booth and threatening to take him to court if he never paid up.

Haye and Naz (well, more Naz) were liked by the British public. Haye is too, but I think everyone doesn't like the things he is doing before fights at the moment, but he is always full of respect afterwards.

I don't like James DeGale. A great boxer with a bright future, but as a person I dislike him.

He's simply not funny and comes of as manufactured. It's not too late and he really should stop playing the heel and shut he's mouth.

Not at all. De gake uses bully tactics, where as with Naz his insults were nowhere near as personal or rude.

Am i the only person, who misses Naz?

Degale does coem across as a fool with his insults, even moreso no, because Groves took him to school.

Having confidence is good, but being overconfident and being cocky and then LOSING, just makes you look silly.

Woudl of been decent for Degale to come out and say after the fight that Groves fought a hell of fight and deserved the victory, wasn't surprised in the slightest went he shirked the cameras and stormed off though. Completely agree with Hitman Fan, the British public will never warm to Degale if he continues to be a loud mouth ***** who can't back up his words.

Most like-able trash talkers are the ones who use a bit of humour and are tongue-in-cheek with their insults - that's why Nas and (early) Ali were able to pull it off so well, while Degale and Floyd can come across as dicks.

The strange thing is, Degale seemed to be playing-up to his image and embracing the bad-boy role and now suddenly he doesn't understand why no-one loves him??

Degale is a poor mans Naz, he tries to come across as cocky and a badboy, but hes just not
