They're not that great, for the price you can get a better set of gloves

lol i want to be a competitive boxer but have to cut some weight, i dont want to be one of those local dudes 5'8 5'9 fighting at cruiser with hanging bellies, im like 5'9 and would like to compete at 135 first in amateur, but have a natural wide build at the shoulders so i think i might have to settle for 147 or 154.

i wanted some training gloves i could pound away at the bag with, with no worries. Something a bit cheap but i do have some 12oz training reyes so i guess i'll use those, they are a bit tight and hurt my middle knuckle but i guess there just not broken in.

Personally I've had Everlast, Grant, Title and Ringside IMFs and my favorite gloves are the Fighting Sports Tri Tech 14s.

I wouldn't suggest reyes for training, not enough padding. As far as inexpensive yet quality, I would have to go with ringside

I don't know about those ones, but I've owned multiple pairs of their tri-tech ones and their awesome. They have great protection and they fit around the fist very snug. I use them for everything except sparring which I use lace up Winnings for. I can't speak for that particular model though.

Tehy're probably allowed in pro boxing somewhere. Each state/country allows various brands.

They are used regularly in kickboxing and muaythai fights though.
