I do wonder whether the Froch vs Johnson fight is as clear a win for Froch as the betting suggests. Sure, Froch may well win it, but the betting the last time I looked was perhaps a little on the short side.

...if Froch loses this, it's not good for the rest of the Super Six, of which there is a fair bit of money and TV interest thrown into I should imagine.

Froch by 3 or 4 rounds imo.

Needs to go to the body early, not sure how much a 40 odd year old Johnson at 168 will be able to take.

i think froch will have a hard fight with johnson. he won't be able to do what he did vs abraham. that will be his gameplan though but it won't work because johnson WILL get inside and rough carl up. froch will respond in kind and we will get an all out brawl for our money imo. i think froch comes through it but i don't think it will be easy. i think dwyer makes some good points on that front.

his opinion on groves vs degale is ridiculous though.

A primed Johnson probably would have destroyed Froch.... But Froch should hopefully beat this over the hill Johnson.

Sorry Dwyer but once again I see your usual prediction going like this.

Johnson can be dangerous, but i have been looking at some of his last few fights and I see Froch being able to beat what I've seen there, he needs to pace it early on and try get a few rounds up on the jab, because Johnson will turn it into a brawl late and Carl cannot afford to get tired with a brawling johnson late in the fight.

Anyway Carl by UD or possible late stoppage imo

No it's not, he was spot on with his scoring, this is a pro Groves/anti Degale board so naturally a lot wont agree with him.

The only ones coming across as a bit racist are the ones imagining that in their minds.

You only need to know his prediction history to see that what you're suggesting is nonsense.

johnson isn't a clear win for anyone. he comes ins hape, comes to fight and he'll keep fighting for 12 rounds. that is alot of mental and physical pressure for his opponents.

Froch should win this. Johnson wasn't all that impressive against Green and Froch is better than Green in every area. Froch UD or he may even force a late stoppage.

"Excitement is good, but getting carried away leads to a landing on harsher ground."

Analyse the previous fights from these two and you will see a clear winner. Recently Johnson may have beaten Allan Green and Yusaf Mack, 2 good boxers but he's lost to Tavoris Cloud and Chad Dawson as well. Ask yourself which category Carl Froch is most likely to fall into and the victor is obvious.

The Horse says Carl Froch takes a unanimous decision of 116-112 x2 and 115-113. Odds of 5/4 which aren't great, but is a more than likely outcome.

    Horse out.
