The US government should create a sports testing agency. This agency should pay informants and hire agents to find athletes who cheat on drug tests.

There should be a three strikes policy. If a person is caught cheating 3 times in their career they should be banned from the sport for life.

Every athlete should be required to take the test, at any time or place of the governments choosing.

The US government has many better things to do than monitor for cheating in sports. Especially when said cheating has no real world impact.

I agree that something has to be done in this sport about regulation and it does not stop with drug testing. Boxing is an international sport obviously but if the greatest and most powerful country in the world starts getting involved it is an obvious step forward. However, don't hold your breath

You don't understand how the system works. There is Local, State, and Federal levels to enforcement. USADA was recognized by congress as the official non-governmental agency for testing at the National level for sports. They have been basking in Federal funds to do the job since. If there are any deficiencies you are aware of at that level write your congressman. You'll have to look up the state or local agency responsible and complain at that level if that is the jurisdiction of the agency failing to do its job.

Now why the hell would athletes use banned substances when there are so many legal ones not on the banned list?

Why on earth would the US gov do it?

So it's inefficient, corrupt, and it will only hire their relatives?

I think they are wasting our tax dollars enough as it is, fool.

Running to the Gubmint to solve your problems is the rough equivalent of making a deal with the Devil. They tell you everyting you want to hear but eventually wind up hunting ypu down like a common Snow Leopard....

*****S are so funny. They'll make a harmless thread about testing **** but would normally end up in Pac being a PED user.... Watch :hat

The last thing we need to do is waste money on such rubbish. Invest it in education or infrastructure, not a money toilet like sports testing.
