Why is Zab Judah being asked to take short money?

I think most fights should be 40-40, winner gets the other 20. That would be ideal.

In a fair world, yes. In boxing, never. In most cases the main focus in both attention and money is on the boxer who's career is on the ascendancy.

:-( you really think zab would beat khan? he has nothing but a left uppercut that he only lands when guys fall in with the right hand. plus he quits after the 6th round if he hasn't knocked his opponent out. khan would keep him at range and shell him all night. boring ass khan decision is the only possible outcome of this fight.

He is faster, southpaw, hits harder, more experience and does well against boxers.
Khan doesnt have the parts to where Zab down.

Its because the khans are dirty greasy good for nothing shopkeepers who think because they can lowball everyone. They are horrible people to deal with and every negotiation with them no matter who they are dealing with is the same.
The amount of money grabbers hanging around Khan at the moment is disgusting just like the people themselves,Cant wait till he is ktfo and these parrasites crawl back under the slimy rock they came from.....

Anyone who says Zab deserves anywhere near half is ignorant to the fact that Boxings a business and obviously didn't see Zabs last fight.

The quality, skills and experience of each opponent is mainly irrelevant to the commercials. Boxing is the entertainment business, only how much you can sell matters.

Zabs last fight was for a World Championship in his home town and he couldn't sell out what looked like a YMCA/Leisure centre. There were barely 100's there. It looked like an empty basketball court.

Khan could sell 20,000 tickets and 600k PPV minimum in the UK alone vs almost any opponent, Zab couldn't sell a drink to a thirsty man!

Would be a good fight though and I rate Zabs chances.

Its ignorant to believe Judah deserves 50/50 against Khan.

All he did was beat a journyman type fighter and won a vacant piece of tin from it.

Khan is at the top and Judah has very little bargaining power if any. This fight should be 65/35 Khan or 50/50 with Khan receiving 100% of UK revenue.

Judah is 1-4 in his last five title fights. Khan is 5-0 in his last five title fights. Zab should take whatever he can get and misspell some praise to God on Twitter for getting the fight at all.

Judah is lucky he was given this shot. He already lost six title fights.

Right now Khan is the bigger name than him so Judah cannot dictate his terms. If he wins this fight then he can formulate his own terms for his next fight.

    SMH... show some courtesy Curtis....

Judah vs. Khan would be a unification fight, so no one is entitled to the lines share of the money...

Judah is relevent AGAIN, and is a NAME that can SELL... Bradley is a NAME now but can't sell..

Judah/Spinks set an attendance record in St Louis...
Judah/Cotto if im not mistaken, but an attendace record in MSG..

And he does well ticket sale wise in Jersey...

Unifying title fight, 50/50 split... plain and simple... Amir isn't Manny... He's barely Devon Alexander...
